Unfortunately
this is not the wooden version made by CD, but a print that Aleksandr
Leontev made for himself. The print is very high quality, it has a nice
weight to it implying that a very high infill percentage was used in
this print, weighs 6.5 ounces and measures 2.5" for all 3 sides.
It
works well as a puzzle that you can carry around with you everywhere
since it fits nicely into the packets of a jacket and is clearly durable
enough to handle rough usage. Compared to the fact that one wouldn't want to casually carry around the CD version out of a fear of damaging it, this is a clear benefit of owning the printed version of the puzzle.
It also comes
with a piece shown in the picture where it can be switched out with
another piece for a shorter solve sequence that is "only" about 10,000
moves long. I also have a BT file that I can provide which shows the
solve sequence for both problems. But there is the obvious issue of
moving the animation slider to watch 1 or 2 moves in a sequence that is
10 to 12 thousand moves long. So I don't consider the BT file to be too
helpful.
Sadly, this print does not
have the ingenious "quick-reset" mechanism that the wooden CD version
has. So if you wish to reset the puzzle after solving it, you will need
to reverse the entire solve sequence all over again. 410 minutes of fun
guaranteed!
