Description

This particular copy of  Stewart’s classic design was one I made in 2024 using 1/2” cubes.  I made a Box and Lid to contain it in the rectangular solid assembly (2x3x4).

There are 15 ways that the pieces can be assembled into the box.

This set of pieces can also be assembled into a 4x6 rectangle (18 solutions) as well as a 3x8 rectangle with 12 solutions.

Of course there is also the 5x5 square formation with empty voxel in a variety of locations.

Box and Lid are made from Red Zebrawood with Wenge Inlays and Maple Slipfeathers.  Pieces are Lacewood & Jatoba.  It has been given my typical ‘triple buffing process’.

Shipping cost to be determined at close of auction.

Golden Pot - Yavuz Demirhan by Pelikan
I’m reluctantly offering up this beautiful puzzle design by Yavuz that was exceptionally crafted by Pelikan.Kevin Sadler wrote about it:“When Yavuz designs something, I always pay attention. He is an amazing designer as well as a superb craftsman. The belief that there is a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow is a wonderful piece of old Irish folklore and it is quite surprising that a Turkish man living in Germany can get a pair of Czech craftsmen to make it but even without a hint of Irelan...
