Description

I’m offering up this awesome design by Alfons that was expertly crafted by CubicDissection from Macacauba & Ash.

Ships assembled in original packaging.

Here’s CubicDissection’s description:

“Another great one from Belgian burr builder Alfons Eyckmans, Barzoi is a very unique design. A twelve piece burr with interaction between the inner and outer components almost as if it behaves like a nested burr. Six outer pieces overlap six inner pieces with an offset on each axis to make this puzzle stand out when assembled.

The solution is only a moderate level 13.2.1.1.1.2. Don't let that fool you, this puzzle is difficult! With a few different multi-piece movements, disassembly alone is a great challenge. Fit was modified from the prototype copy to achieve smooth movements when multiple pieces interact.

43 copies are available for this release, each signed and dated.”

Shipping to be determined at close of auction.

Slot Machine - Stewart Coffin Design #185 by Henry Strout
I have decided to offer up this puzzle in an effort to further thin out my personal collection.  This classic Coffin design was Henry’s IPP 24 Exchange puzzle at Tokyo, Japan  in 2004 and marked his second appearance in the exchange.Eric Fuller (RIP) released (2005) a modified version with a wood slotted top to make the puzzle much more difficult! Here’s Stewart’s description:“Try your luck on this one - or test your patience! The seven polyomino-type pieces of Slot Machine are inserted...

30 Notched Sticks - George Hart - 3D printed by Stephanie Cervi
This is a cool puzzle that displays nicely, although it does come apart I wouldn’t suggest it as it does not contain a key piece. Here’s a description from Stephanie:“This exceptionally challenging stick assembly puzzle is made up of 30 identical sticks, arranged along the edges of a dodecahedron.  Getting started is easy enough, but the last few pieces will delight and confound even experienced puzzlers.”Shipping cost to be determined at close of auction.
