Bill Cutler's Blockhead CT702 by Cutler / Arjeu

Getting near the end of the Arjeu lots, and the biggest and best are here!

A smaller version of CT701, the four pieces inside the frame appear to be Rosewood, which was not typical in Arjeu products.  Made in the 80's/90's by Arjeu.

Arjeu was a French company that produced over 90 wooden mechanical puzzles, many of which are interlocking puzzles.  Arjeu's line of puzzles are known for their intricate designs and challenging nature.  Many of the designs are from Stewart Coffin, Phillipe Dubois, Pierlot, and others.  Appealing at first glance, these puzzles are also known for being difficult and require dexterity and problem-solving skills to assemble and disassemble.  Interestingly, they are featured in the Canadian Center for Architecture!  All puzzles are made from beech, sometimes colored to provide contrast.

Puzzles are made to live in people's hands.  Pick one up today!  See all active listings here: metagrobology : the study of puzzles
