Large (6"x6"), bold, solid puzzle designed by prolific puzzle designer Bill Darrah, manufactured by and used as an exchange puzzle by long-time International Puzzle Party attendee Pavel Curtis, at the 20th International Puzzle Party (IPP20), held in Los Angeles in 2000. The puzzle resembles a wooden raft and consists of ten wooden (walnut) "logs," each of which has one dovetail notch cut across its width, and one corresponding dovetail tab oriented along the log's length. The goal of the puzzle is to assemble the raft, with five logs placed side-by-side horizontally face up, interlocking with the other five logs placed side-by-side vertically face down. New condition from Bill Darrah's personal collection. A copy of this puzzle sold in a December 2013 Baxter puzzle auction for $70.
