Acclaimed puzzle designer Gary Foshee created Holey Bolt as his exchange puzzle for IPP22, held in Antwerp in 2002. Shortly after that, Bits & Pieces licensed the puzzle from Gary and sold their own version, which is what I am offering. It is very likely over twenty years old. The only differences (that I can note) between Gary's version and the B & P version are that a) Gary crafted his exchange puzzle version himself, and Bits & Pieces had their version manufactured in Taiwan; and b) in Gary's version, the chain is made of brass, while in the Bits & Pieces version, the chain is made of steel.
While Gary's original version of Holey Bolt has sold in the past on Puzzle Paradise from between $165 – $400 (through four auctions), my opening of $36 reflects that I am offering the B&P mass produced version. (Yes, I DO understand that old B&P puzzles have become very popular, as well!)
My copy of Bits & Pieces "Holey Bolt" is complete and in unused condition, in its original plastic bag with its solution sheet and in its original box (which is in mint condition).
