This Alfons burr is awesome with some initial false paths that can lead you astray.

It features 3 burr pieces that need to be shifted in order to move the 4th central burr piece. There’s also two frame pieces cradling a plate burr piece in Wenge creating a ‘black belt’.

This puzzle has a level move count of

15.5.4.1.2.2.

Brick Wall - Lucie Pauwels by Pelikan

This is an awesome design by Lucie and it’s expertly crafted by Pelikan using Bubinga for the ‘Bricks’ with Maple used for the ‘Grout’. Placing the 11 pieces within the frame is rather tricky.I made a Box and Lid from Black Limba to house this puzzle. I also added a removable sleeve from Tigerwood. Slipfeathers are Wenge.Shipping cost to be determined at close of auction.

It seems hard to believe that it's been almost 20 years since I first made a small run of this clever packing puzzle design in 2006. William has graciously allowed me to offer up another run as there were only a dozen copies made in 2006.The original metal version was William’s exchange puzzle at the IPP21 in Tokyo.This version is made using many wood varieties and includes a Stand.
