Black Hole puzzle by Doug Engel and Wil Strijbos

Goal of this puzzle is to free the metal ball that is locked inside (size of the ball bearing is about 2,5 cm). It has a simple yet clever design and solution.

The metal plates have some slight scratches ('worst' sides are shown on the pictures), but overall I would say it is in fine condition. The edges of the plates have always been rough from original machining.
