Description
How do I do this puzzle justice? In every way, it's quite the remarkable puzzle.
Bruns came up with the idea for the mechanism at one point, and then set it aside in a hurry when the Ukraine-Russian war broke out. He had to endure a tumultuous period of turmoil for some time before returning to his passion for making puzzles. He took what he experienced and fused it with the preliminary puzzle ideas left on the back-burner. Originally, the puzzle was going to be a bomb and the goal would be to explode it, but after what he went through, he decided the puzzle needed to represent peace instead of war and violence. Hence the theme of the puzzle was flipped on its head to be about destroying the bomb instead.
The puzzle proved to be quite challenging and I was completely lost for some time. I admit to thinking it arrived defective or missing parts, but I trusted in Bruns' quality of work to doubt that assumption (and the fact that every puzzle is broken until it's solved!) The ingenious insight came to me when I considered the fact that Bruns is an engineer and the needed step most likely exploited an engineering mechanism. I was in awe as the puzzle came apart, and revealed the stunning prize!
From craftsmanship to design, this puzzle is a testament on what people can do even when enduring the most trying of circumstances.
"I wish peaceful skies to all of you, and I want that you can see war only in fantastic movies or virtual games."
