Description

I got this puzzle recently and it simply had me stumped, I decided I needed to see the internals so promptly removed the outer pieces to reveal its inner workings. I then sketched out its secrets and reframed the exterior with Lacewood and then gave it my triple buffing process.

Tyler’s description certainly doesn’t shed light on its secrets:

“Goal- remove the ball bearing within the puzzle. Anything goes. Level 2/3-10.”

Trench’s Triple Trouble by Kevin Holmes

This is a very nice design and build by Kevin from decades ago. It’s a ‘Cube and Plank’ design featuring Walnut and Cherry. It seems hard to believe that it's been almost 20 years since I first made a small run of this clever packing puzzle design in 2006.
