This is a cool puzzle, but its lock is broken - the numbers on the front panel. I can NOT close the box, the lock is jammed. I tried to fix it, but apparently there the spring came off inside or something else. However, "opening the box" is only part of the puzzle. You will be able to solve all the pieces of this puzzle except for the first step - opening the box. Everything else is fine.

I bought this puzzle for $170 + shipping.

You have a chance NOT skip the first step of the puzzle because the search for the lock code is still available to you! Don't open the box manually until you figure out the lock code. I will secure the box lid with a rubber band or something else to prevent the box from opening. And when you find out the lock code, just open it and the detective investigation continues.

I am not a collector and cannot afford to collect jigsaw puzzles. That is why I sell resolved ones to buy unresolved ones. I'm sorry to lose so much money. Unfortunately, what happened happened. Although the puzzle did not fall or shake, just something happened inside of the lock mechanism. I keep ALL my puzzles carefully because I know what I will sell them. However, what's the point in the fact that it will gather dust at home. Perhaps someone wants to solve it, but there is no money to buy it at full price. Here is your opportunity to buy it much cheaper and conduct your own detective investigation. +10 karma for those who have read to the end =)
