Description

Double Bar Cube

designed by Tom Jolly
crafted by Eric Fuller (2006)

  • condition: as new
  • description: A clever interlocking cube design from nearly 20 years ago, where each piece contains two parallel bars that create surprisingly restricted movement. The assembly is approachable, but the unusual piece geometry and coordinated sliding motions make it an enjoyable solve. With only 25 copies ever produced, it is a very rare puzzle to come across today.

In Bracketsdesigned by Sam Cornwellcrafted by Eric Fuller (2009)condition: as newdescription: A beautifully made 3x3 interlocking cube wrapped by three wooden brackets, crafted from Peruvian Walnut and Zebrawood. It was Sam Cornwell's entry to the IPP30 Design Competition. The cube itself is fairly approachable, but the brackets must be inserted in one exact order, making the assembly quite tricky.
