Description
Fay Rho's Pyramid is one of several exchange puzzles from IPP23 (2003, Chicago) made by the great, but sadly fleeting, Steve Strickland of Puzzlecraft.  All of these exchange puzzles were based on the RHOmbic dodecahedron as the basic unit.  Fay Rho's Pyramid consists of four pieces, each composed of five rhombic dodecahedrons in different arrangements, which must be assembled to form a tetrahedron comprised of twenty rhombic dodecahedrons.  Steve's work is famed for it's precision and popularity.  Fay Rho's Pyramid was the exchange puzzle of perennial exchange participant Mike Hawthorne of England.

The puzzle is as received at IPP23 in 2003, in it's original box with original plastic bubble wrap.

I am sure I could never get it back in the bag as clean as this is. This is not your average burr. While it appears to be a standard interlocking "knot," it consists of eight unique segments rat...
