Description
I recently decided to make a run of these cool puzzles, they are not quite interlocking so I included a tray to display the puzzle. Not an overly difficult design but you can certainly see Stewart’s progression over the years. This puzzle led Stewart to one of my personal favourite designs, ‘Four-Piece Interlocking Cube’.
I made several different wood varieties for this puzzle design, a few in one wood and a couple in multi-woods.
They are lacquered and given a coat of Conservators Wax.
Here’s what Stewart wrote:
“It is not quite interlocking but nearly so. The cubes glued with their grains all aligned. Knowing this is an aid to solving, but is actually done to minimize the effects of humidity.”
Woods used in this copy are: Bubinga/Oak/Birch
Puzzle ships disassembled with information sheet.
Shipping cost is $15 to US/Canada with tracking, please contact me for options everywhere else.
