Description
RELEASED: 3.27.2013
PRODUCED: 34 Copies
DESIGNER: Guy Brette
CRAFTSMAN: Eric Fuller
MATERIAL: Maple and Purpleheart
COMMENTS: Another of Guy Brette's devious designs, this twelve piece burr has two different stick lengths and an interesting "cross" finished shape. It's also quite difficult with a whopping level 9.9.9 solution. I'd call it the crown jewel of this update in terms of difficulty and appearance. The maple on the short axis contrasts nicely with the purpleheart long axis, and once assembled it displays very nicely.

Construction is excellent, fit is slightly loose in the dry winter weather we're having in the shop right now.

34 copies made for sale, each signed and dated. Ships unassembled.

SIZE:

2.25" x 3"

Winning bidder shall pay for shipping. Estimated Europe 13GBP; USA etc 17GBP; UK cheaper
Happy Bidding

********************************************************************************
To make this auction fairer if the leading bidder has changed any time during the final day, that lot will remain open for an additional day. This will continue until the leading bidder has retained the lead at least one full bidding day. The purpose of this rule is to give the penultimate bidder a reasonable time to counter-offer, and thus to discourage poaching. I feel this is the right thing to do as some bidders are in different time zones and may not be able to bid towards the end, unless they like sleep deprivation. This method is used on various other puzzle auctions.
