Description

Dic Sonneveld's Four Piece Cube is an incredible puzzle - deceptively simple yet brilliantly challenging. From the outside it looks like a basic 2x2 cube. Inside there are two copies of each of two pieces, each quite intricate and irregularly shaped. Taking it apart is not hard but not immediate. Assembly on the other hand is much more complex since the pieces can fit together in many different ways – I’m still working on reassembling the pieces after taking the above photos.

What further sets this edition apart is the exceptional craftsmanship of master woodworker Tom Lensch. The surfaces are silky-smooth, the fit is crisp, and the tactile experience is simply superb. This is truly a masterpiece puzzle with a phenomenal combination of complexity, craftsmanship, feel, and beauty.
