Description

Juno definitely knows how to take a classic puzzle and add in a twist to make it seem completely fresh again! Not only is this a twist on the standard burr-style puzzle, it's also a twist on the grooved burrs that Juno likes to make.

Gravitational Burr is a burr with a sneaky surprise hiding. Simply put, there's a ball bearing inside which prevents the burr pieces from rapidly coming apart. The solver has to work to manipulate the ball inside based on auditory and tactile cues through a maze until the first piece comes off. It's intimidating, but surprisingly manageable. Either the solver ends up backtracking to the beginning or the pieces come apart. There isn't really a fear of getting "lost" and dealing with a misshapen lump of burr parts that refuse to come apart or reassemble back into a neat shape. It's a fun tactile pleasure, but I'm of the personal opinion that this puzzle is more of a challenge to one's patience than brain.
