Description

⟬ Karakuri Fortnight ⟭——[ puzzles by KCG designers ]——12.Hiroshi Iwahara - Box With A Tree (remake, 2011)

made from: keyaki(zelkova), katsura, acrylic board

from the KCG description:

These are the remake version of the “Box with a tree”.

The materials of the surface board were changed. As many of you know, the side plates must move in a special way. For this reason, more experienced skills are needed. The side plates were made somewhat loosely.

i do not have the storage box for this puzzle.

⟬ Karakuri Fortnight ⟭——[ puzzles by KCG designers ]——02. Hideaki Kawashima - Pod Yin and Yang (2019) made from: cherry, magnolia, wenge from the KCG description: I changed the design of pod (KW-30). The mechanism is same as KW-30. The previously announced "pod Yin and Yang" (KW-30-5, 6, 7) had a spherical central decorative part, but this is flat. It seems counter to your intuition, this flat decoration part took much more time and effort than the previous...
