Description

This puzzle has baffled me ever since I received and to this day I still can’t figure how Brian put it together!

Here’s a partial description from Brian:

Brian created this puzzle using 52 pieces of Pine:

“A Wotsit is another type of puzzle (What is it? an obscure item not easily recognisable for what they do or are).  First, you need to work out what it does, or what it might be used for.

As well as a Wotsit this one’s also an Impossible Object. Can you work out how the item is put together? No glue at all was used in the construction. And yes, in this case, it does mean the item will not come apart without breaking it.”

This is a cool puzzle that displays nicely, although it does come apart I wouldn’t suggest it as it does not contain a key piece. Here’s a description from Stephanie:“This exceptionally challenging stick assembly puzzle is made up of 30 identical sticks, arranged along the edges of a dodecahedron.  Getting started is easy enough, but the last few pieces will delight and confound even experienced puzzlers.”Shipping cost to be determined at close of auction.

Cube in a Box by John Devost
This puzzle features a random set of pieces (crafted by Tom Lensch) that I decided to make a box to contain them.  It’s a 3x3x3 configuration with a couple of lone cubes that fill the typical 27 voxel arrangement.Box features Wenge, Roasted Ash and Canarywood with Bocote and Rosewood pieces.Comes with signed information sheet with solution.Shipping cost to be determined at close of auction.

Sphinks Cargo Car - Brian Young by Henry Strout
I have decided to offer up this puzzle in an effort to further thin out my personal collection.  This very cool packing puzzle was designed by Brian and is a continuation of Henry’s ‘Train Themed’ puzzles. This was Henry’s gift at the IPP 34 Exchange at London, England.  There are 6 pieces that need to be placed onto the box car with one lone block permanently attached.Shipping cost to be determined at close of auction.

Slot Machine - Stewart Coffin Design #185 by Henry Strout
I have decided to offer up this puzzle in an effort to further thin out my personal collection.  This classic Coffin design was Henry’s IPP 24 Exchange puzzle at Tokyo, Japan  in 2004 and marked his second appearance in the exchange.Eric Fuller (RIP) released (2005) a modified version with a wood slotted top to make the puzzle much more difficult! Here’s Stewart’s description:“Try your luck on this one - or test your patience! The seven polyomino-type pieces of Slot Machine are inserted...
