Description
Martin has designed a series of jigsaw puzzles based on fractal patterns. In my opinion, they are the hardest jigsaw puzzles in the world!

He has created an entire series of 8 different tray puzzles based on 8 different fractal patterns. Their difficulty comes from the fact that all of the pieces are very similar to each other and has massive overlaps in the spaces they can be placed on in the tray, but there is only 1 solution that permits all pieces to lie flat on the tray.

This acrylic puzzle is a special copy that he only made for the Kickstarter backers of his Loki's Box of Tricks puzzle. So he doesn't actually sell copies of this puzzle. He based it on his earlier Hilbert's Curve puzzle and tweaked the design so the pieces would be even more similar to each other to make it harder to figure out which piece goes where.

The puzzle came still with the protection labels on them from when it was laser cut. I don't blame Martin for not peeling the labels off since he had over a hundred copies that he was selling at the time, but I didn't care about keeping them on, so I never peeled them off. So the label is still on the back of the tray and one side of the pieces.

Here's a link to his website if people are interested in buying his other fractal tray puzzles: https://msraynsford.ecwid.com/Fractal-Tray-Puzzles-p107939894

Knot-a-2x2 by Rex Perez
Knot-a-2x2 made for a wild flashback to my younger years playing with a Rubik's Cube. I'll be honest here, I struggled just as badly here as I did back then with the Rubik's Cube hahaha.I had fun with Rex's prior designs when he was mostly selling coin releases and burrs, so when I heard that he was designing an SD for seemingly the first time, I knew I had to get it. And hearing that it's based on the design of a Rubik's Cube, that just sealed the deal. The goal is to scramble up the cube so you...

LOL by Frederic Boucher
Frederic Boucher has a long history of coming up with wild puzzles, but he doesn't like to craft more than a handful of copies before moving on to the next design. Which is why I'm so appreciative of Pelikan for stepping in to make more copies of LOL for everyone to try!LOL is a packing puzzle where the solver needs to fit all of the pieces into a 4x5 space with only a 1x2 opening to fit the pieces inside. It's obvious that rotations will be required since there are pieces that wouldn't otherwis...

Minima Smiley by Frederic Boucher

Minima Smiley by Frederic Boucher
Frederic Boucher has been crafting Minima after Minima design where he works to design a packing puzzle within a 2 by 2 by 3 box where either the solver has to fit in a set of pieces, or figure out how to take them out. He used to number them, but after reaching #14 which developed into a full blown sequential discovery puzzle (Jammed Gem), they've spiraled out into other names and really stretching the original packing concept of a Minima. At this point, the total number of Minima designs is ...

Archipuzzle by Lucie Pauwels
Archipuzzle is actually a sequel of sorts to Stuffing Burr despite both puzzles being designed by different people.Just like Stuffing Burr, Archipuzzle is an unusual burr puzzle where the goal is to assemble it instead of taking the burr apart. Furthermore, it has a catch in that it has no obvious goal shape unlike most other burrs. Instead, solvers need to figure out how to assemble the pieces in a way that every notch is filled in with another piece.Lucie was inspired by Volker's Stuffing Burr...
