Description
This is a very unusual and difficult burr. It requires rotations and is the hardest 6-piece burr I have ever done. I'm honestly amazed that I was able to get it together at all!

I'm showing it in the assembled state because it's so hard to get it apart and back together that I didn't want to do so just to take the needed pictures. If the buyer is a burr novice, I'd recommend tackling this as a disassembly challenge, and if the buyer wants an extreme burr challenge, then I'll disassemble it before shipping it out.

I actually think CD's extreme level of tight tolerances and precision made this puzzle even harder than designed because if the solver didn't execute the needed moves perfectly, then it's easy to think the important moves aren't actually possible and a dead end.

It's in all Ash, and one of the only 2 oddball copies made in Ash by CD. Being in only 1 wood type makes it a harder burr challenge, since the original Ash/Wenge version paired off each Ash and Wenge piece together while the solver gets no such clues when assembling this version.

I accept Paypal. I prefer Friends & Family due to the IRS tax rules. But if you rather pay with Goods & Services, I will accommodate that preference.
I accept Wise for international buyers.
I am willing to consider other payment methods.

Shipping is USPS or UPS
Buyer chooses the shipping service and shipping speed, First Class or Priority (assuming the package is under the weight limit for First Class).
Insurance is optional, but buyer has to cover it if it is desired.
I ask the winner to hold off on paying until after I calculate and message final shipping costs to be added to the final bid.

LOL by Frederic Boucher
Frederic Boucher has a long history of coming up with wild puzzles, but he doesn't like to craft more than a handful of copies before moving on to the next design. Which is why I'm so appreciative of Pelikan for stepping in to make more copies of LOL for everyone to try!LOL is a packing puzzle where the solver needs to fit all of the pieces into a 4x5 space with only a 1x2 opening to fit the pieces inside. It's obvious that rotations will be required since there are pieces that wouldn't otherwis...

Matchbox Playground by Péter Gál
Does anyone remembers Oskar's Matchboxes? The solver had 5 matchboxes with a square shell and a box attached to it at different spots from piece to piece, and then they had to be put them together so all 5 boxes would fit inside another matchbox. It was a very interesting puzzle with 4 cavities to store small items inside and people had fun finding multiple ways to put the boxes together. It was fairly popular and not the only one of it's type! Matchbox Play Six by Olexandre Kapkan upped the cou...

Knot-a-2x2 by Rex Perez
Knot-a-2x2 made for a wild flashback to my younger years playing with a Rubik's Cube. I'll be honest here, I struggled just as badly here as I did back then with the Rubik's Cube hahaha.I had fun with Rex's prior designs when he was mostly selling coin releases and burrs, so when I heard that he was designing an SD for seemingly the first time, I knew I had to get it. And hearing that it's based on the design of a Rubik's Cube, that just sealed the deal. The goal is to scramble up the cube so you...

Vertigo definitely lives up to its name considering how easy it is to go around and around in circles with this puzzle! It's a good thing that it's so pretty and nice to look at considering how long I spent just staring at it like an idiot lost on the next step to do! I liked it more than most of Dee's other works. It has some very nice steps that I was impressed by and liked to repeat just for the tactile pleasure of executing these steps.Grab this bad boy to enjoy as the first puzzle of 2026!I ...
