Description

⟬ Juno Fortnight ⟭——[ puzzles designed by Junichi Yananose ]——02. A Mazing Burr (2017)

from Juno's description:

A Mazing Burr is as funny and weird as his previously designed puzzles. There are mazes on the puzzle pieces and pins travel in those grooved mazes. There are many dead ends and ironically, the dead end shape of the groove does not always mean dead end of the puzzle. The puzzle requires multiple coordinated motion for assembling and disassembling.

made from bubinga and Queensland maple

number of moves to remove the first piece: 17

⟬ Juno Fortnight ⟭——[ puzzles designed by Junichi Yananose ]——23. Juno - Beauy Kruse (2021)
⟬ Juno Fortnight ⟭——[ puzzles designed by Junichi Yananose ]——05. Beauy Kruse (2021) from Juno's description: Thanks to the white colored end blocks, the orientation of the pieces is restricted and it gives a unique level 10-2 solution to the puzzle. Although, it might sound easier considering the numbers of moves to assemble/disassemble the puzzle, it is quite challenging and we are unsure how many burr lovers can actually solve the puzzle witho...

⟬ Juno Fortnight ⟭——[ puzzles designed by Junichi Yananose ]——19. SDBB (Sequential Discovery Burred Box) (2018) from Juno's description: This six-piece burr shaped puzzle happens to have a small cavity or compartment and it requires sequential discovery movements to access the cavity using tools that belong to the puzzle itself. As long as you observe the puzzle very carefully, it shouldn’t be too difficult to solve. Depending on how to count, the puzzl...
