The puzzle was made by renowned puzzle maker Trevor Wood in England in 1997.
Information on the bottom of the puzzle: Trevor Wood 1205 1997 Made in UK.
The design is by Junichi Yananose (Juno) and Trevor first made it the early 1990’s for Edward Hordern’s collection.
Trevor made these puzzles in various combinations of wood. This particular puzzles was made for Ray Mead and has 6 interlocked pieces, each made from a different exotic wood, inside a frame.
Goal: Remove the six boxes from the frame and then reassemble them. It takes fourteen moves to remove the first piece from the box. A challenging puzzle.
Size: 125x125x75mm
Materials: The pieces are all made from 6 different exotic woods. The frame is a different wood again. But I do not know the species.
Condition: The puzzle is in brilliant condition. Brian took the pieces out and checked everything. It might be the only time it’s been played with.
The puzzle is not packaged and has no paperwork. Just the writing on the bottom of the puzzle itself.
General Information:
This is Brian Young from Mr Puzzle in Australia selling some doubles as a result of merging Ray Mead’s collection into my own existing collection.

Import duties/tariffs are not included in the final price. The import duty or tariff rate may be different for every country so please check the rate that applies to your own country. It is usual practice that import duties or tariffs are paid by the buyer at the point of import or delivery in your own country. USA is the exception. The USA government has mandated that the tariff be paid to them from Australia before we can send the parcel. The tariff percentage for puzzles made in England is currently set at 10% + Customs clearance fee.
