Unusually named "Box of Branch and Loophole" was the 2023 Christmas gift of the devious and long-time Karakuri Creation Group member Hiroshi Iwahara. The box is made from four BEAUTIFULLY contrasting woods, and is PARTICULARLY DEVIOUS in that when you think you have opened it, you're really only half way there! This box has fidget-like character, and is a lot of fun to manipulate on the way (hopefully) to the solution. The box is no longer currently available through the Karakuri Creation Group web site.
Of course, the box is pristinely made, and my copy is in mint condition and in its original box in its original plastic bag. Since it was a Karakuri Christmas present, it does not come with its individual solution, but I will supply a photocopy of the solution from the collected 2023 Karakuri Christmas puzzle solution sheet.
