Description

This is a very clever puzzle by Felix, the solution is not very easy to come by so be forewarned.  This is a high quality metal puzzle and I would likely keep it but I don’t collect them so my loss is your gain.  Comes in original packaging with felt Bag and instruction card.

Shipping cost to be determined at close of auction.

Here's Eric's description from Cubicdissection:

“Kepler is Felix Ure's third design and his first packing puzzle. Typical of Felix's work, the solution is elegant and surprising. Felix describes Kepler as:

"The aim is to put all 11 balls inside the enclosure, then insert the lid. A pocket-sized packing puzzle that seems very simple, until it isn't."

The puzzle is not solved until all eleven balls are in the container with the lid flush against the opening.

Precision machined from solid aluminum and brass, Kepler weighs 155g (.34 lbs) and measures 55mm x 31mm x 33mm, in the solved state. The brass is left unfinished, leaving it to slowly patinate and darken with use. Felix rates the difficulty as 6/10”

Slot Machine - Stewart Coffin Design #185 by Henry Strout
I have decided to offer up this puzzle in an effort to further thin out my personal collection.  This classic Coffin design was Henry’s IPP 24 Exchange puzzle at Tokyo, Japan  in 2004 and marked his second appearance in the exchange.Eric Fuller (RIP) released (2005) a modified version with a wood slotted top to make the puzzle much more difficult! Here’s Stewart’s description:“Try your luck on this one - or test your patience! The seven polyomino-type pieces of Slot Machine are inserted...
