Description
Knot-a-2x2 made for a wild flashback to my younger years playing with a Rubik's Cube. I'll be honest here, I struggled just as badly here as I did back then with the Rubik's Cube hahaha.

I had fun with Rex's prior designs when he was mostly selling coin releases and burrs, so when I heard that he was designing an SD for seemingly the first time, I knew I had to get it. And hearing that it's based on the design of a Rubik's Cube, that just sealed the deal.

The goal is to scramble up the cube so you can eventually access the prize hidden inside it, but be careful or you may struggle a lot to reset the cube and return everything to it's rightful place. All I can say is that Rex was being merciful when he went with the 2x2 design instead of tormenting all of us with the traditional 3x3 cube design! Even former Rubik champions will struggle with this puzzle.

As a side note, this is a 3d printed puzzle. It wasn't made the same way as how Rubik's Cubes are made if anyone was wondering about that.

Pizzeria is a lovely puzzle that placed very well in this year's IPP43 design competition as a Top Ten Vote Getter! So when I had the luck to see that Tye had printed out a batch for people to buy very soon after the IPP finished and had announced their winners, I scrambled for a copy asap!I had fun with this puzzle and laughed at some of the very well themed moves and pieces matching the concept of a pizzeria! I almost felt as if I should have been snacking on a slice of pizza while solving thi...

Matchbox Playground by Péter Gál
Does anyone remembers Oskar's Matchboxes? The solver had 5 matchboxes with a square shell and a box attached to it at different spots from piece to piece, and then they had to be put them together so all 5 boxes would fit inside another matchbox. It was a very interesting puzzle with 4 cavities to store small items inside and people had fun finding multiple ways to put the boxes together. It was fairly popular and not the only one of it's type! Matchbox Play Six by Olexandre Kapkan upped the cou...

Tenchi is a fun little assembly puzzle that Cubic Dissection made from Fredric's design. It's an "anti-slide" puzzle where all of the pieces have to put into the square and positioned around the single cube notch in a way that none of the pieces can slide right back out of the square on either end. It sounds impossible, but I promise that it's very doable even if you have never tried this style of puzzling before. If it ends up being too confusing or demanding to fully solve, I have a solution Bu...
