LOL

LOL designed by Frederic Boucher and crafted by Pelikan Puzzles

This is an assembly and packing puzzle (2 different challenges). There are 5 pieces in Jatoba wood and a frame in Cherry wood. The first goal is to assemble the 5 pieces to make the acronym LOL, respecting the following rule: the 3 characters must have the same size (height and width). The second goal is to pack all the pieces inside the frame without any of them protruding out. 
I don't know about the common opinion but the packing part seemed quite easy to me: maybe I was lucky in finding the trick almost immediately, which is well hidden anyway! I had a little more difficulty in the assembly part (not really the kind of puzzle I'm good at) but with a little help I found the trick: really ingenious!
I am the original owner and the puzzle is in perfect condition: solved once. Please note: Pelikan Puzzles does not supply a box for this puzzle.
