Description

The original 1996 Icosohedral design by Oskar van Deventer inspired J. Dalgety to design two puzzles. In this auction we have one, the Moon Rock was his 2004 IPP Exchange in which the "ball" must be matched to one of the two holes to escape the cage.

Not only is this a very limited release due to the IPP Exchange, but the costs to reproduce this puzzle became out of bounds at the time as well.

This is a very different IPP Puzzle and steps away from some more traditional designs... along with it's scifi design and science-based nod.. this is a great puzzle for so many collectors... and as NASA is heading back to the moon soon.. even more so.
