Description
Gregory took one look at the traditional 6-piece burr style and decided to design a 6-piece burr that would torment and screw with the minds of all prospective burr solvers. He cut out triangular notches, added triangular cuts, and introduced a wild coordinate-motion moves integral to taking this burr apart and back together.

For such a remarkable idea, it's oddly hard to find anyone who is willing to make copies of this series! Eric noted that it'd be a nightmare to make and turned it down. But Gregory was clever and handed him a copy to try and after that, Eric had to make this puzzle.

Round Trip is a mean one that bumps up the difficulty past the first 2 burrs in the series and I kept sliding pieces around and around before finally tugging all of them apart. But I needed a video guide on how to reassemble them all back together! NOS Burrs are brutal and not for the faint of the heart.

Note that the family picture of 4 NOS Burrs are just me showing a group photo of my collected NOS Burrs. Only one burr, the padauk Round Trip, is being sold in this auction. The other 3 NOS Burrs are in separate auctions from this one.

This is the Cubic Dissection page for NOS #3 - Round Trip: https://cubicdissection.com/products/round-trip

Tenchi by Frederic Boucher

Tenchi by Frederic Boucher
Tenchi is a fun little assembly puzzle that Cubic Dissection made from Fredric's design. It's an "anti-slide" puzzle where all of the pieces have to put into the square and positioned around the single cube notch in a way that none of the pieces can slide right back out of the square on either end. It sounds impossible, but I promise that it's very doable even if you have never tried this style of puzzling before. If it ends up being too confusing or demanding to fully solve, I have a solution Bu...

Knot-a-2x2 by Rex Perez
Knot-a-2x2 made for a wild flashback to my younger years playing with a Rubik's Cube. I'll be honest here, I struggled just as badly here as I did back then with the Rubik's Cube hahaha.I had fun with Rex's prior designs when he was mostly selling coin releases and burrs, so when I heard that he was designing an SD for seemingly the first time, I knew I had to get it. And hearing that it's based on the design of a Rubik's Cube, that just sealed the deal. The goal is to scramble up the cube so you...

Pizzeria Italiana by Sergio Amateis
Pizzeria is a lovely puzzle that placed very well in this year's IPP43 design competition as a Top Ten Vote Getter! So when I had the luck to see that Tye had printed out a batch for people to buy very soon after the IPP finished and had announced their winners, I scrambled for a copy asap!I had fun with this puzzle and laughed at some of the very well themed moves and pieces matching the concept of a pizzeria! I almost felt as if I should have been snacking on a slice of pizza while solving thi...
