Description

This posting is for the last publicly available copy of my first puzzle box.  This is a japanese style puzzle box and contains my personal brand (JD Logo) Moving forward I will be launching an LLC with a new company name that all future batches of this and other boxes will be sold with.

Omusubi is Japanese for rice ball but with a very special meaning. When written as お結び the 結 means to make a connection, which I hope to achieve with this box. In my spare time I have been a woodworker and craftsman for many years. As I look to learn from different types of woodworking, practice new techniques and find new challenges to grow, I came across Japanese puzzle boxes and mechanical furniture.  I am amazed by the clever concepts, mechanical ingenuity and meticulous craftsmanship of Japanese woodworkers.  With this in mind, my first puzzle box is in effort to make my own connection with this craft and the people who share my passion.

Woods Used: Maple, Black Limba and Poplar
Size: 4.25” x 4.5” x 2.25”

Goal - Open the box
Dificulty - Easy-Moderate (sounds like more to the moderate side from initial buyers)

Quantity: This first batch is 30 and has my own personal brand JD logo, when I make more they will have my future company brand.

Buyer will be responsible for shipping from USA and any customs/import fees if sent outside of the US.

Paypal F&F is preferred but G&S is also ok, I would just ask for an additional 3% to offset fees. Thank you.
