Description

one of 20 copies made by Eric Fuller in 2010 from bocote, jacarandá-pardo, granadillo, and holly splines.  physical condition is excellent with no warping.

will be sent unassembled and with the original 'keys' in place (shown in the last two photos) to prevent bending during shipping.

Eric's description (https://cubicdissection.com/products/oskars-paperclips-2010):

I made a very small batch of this excellent puzzle five years ago, and thought it was time for another one. Very few people have made this puzzle (just me and Tom I think), which is a shame because it's very interesting!

Constructed this time with three nicely contrasting hardwoods, and holly splines as a nod toward the 2005 edition. I have to say I'm very happy indeed with how these turned out. Extremely precise and with a great feel and look. The joinery is shouldered and reinforced across each length, making this a very sturdy puzzle that you won't be afraid to solve.

With two possible solutions, the paperclips interlock to form a beautiful sculpture once solved. At 14 moves, finding the the solution to this work of art is no trivial task either. It is a very confusing and difficult puzzle to solve.

Each piece is signed and dated.

please do not send payment until the invoice is updated with the shipping cost.

shipment will be by USPS Priority Mail, insured for the full sale price.

♪: all puzzles in my collection have been kept out of sunlight, in a humidity-stable room, away from pets unless they can solve them, and in a non-smoking household.

Tony Fisher - Golden Cube (cast version, black on red) (2013)
⟬ Fisher Fortnight II ⟭——[ puzzles made by Tony Fisher ]——02. Golden Cube, black on red cast (2013) the Golden Cube is the origin of the concept for Adam Cowan's Ghost Cube, and subsequent 'ghosted' puzzles, where slice planes are reoriented in an otherwise symmetrical puzzle to make each piece unique, and the solved state is in midturn which limits the number of initial moves (in this case to one). i bought this in august 2013, but i believe Tony made it a few ...

Tony Fisher - Container (2013)
⟬ Fisher Fortnight II ⟭——[ puzzles made by Tony Fisher ]——01. Container (2013) technically a medium Container (edgelength: 60mm × 88mm), made from a standard Skewb. from Tony's original description (in 2006) on the TwistyPuzzles forum: The puzzle I am most asked about is my Container. This is probably due to the fact that previously I have made only around 7 and I have yet to construct remakes. The Container is one of the few puzzles I have ma...

Tony Fisher - Open Master Pyraminx (2017)
⟬ Fisher Fortnight II ⟭——[ puzzles made by Tony Fisher ]——08. Open Master Pyraminx (2017) a variation on the theme of 'open puzzles', or 'how does that not immediately fall apart?' from the TP museum entry: As Tony has done on other occasions, he has removed five pieces from this puzzle and modified it further to keep it workable. It works equivalent to a bandaged Master Pyraminx where the removed pieces are bonded. Four out of eight turns are stil...
