Description

Made for the Edward Hordern IPP36 in Kyoto, Japan. August 2016
Designed by Laszlo Molnar. Made by Mr Puzzle.

As soon as Brian saw this design published by Yavuz Demirhan on Facebook he immediately wrote to Yavuz to get permission to produce it.  He knew it would be a winner!  A nice balance of wood interwoven with acrylic makes a good looking puzzle.  This puzzle is not so difficult to take apart.   But mix up the pieces, walk away and forget about them, come back later and you’ll find it quite difficult to put back together. There are many false moves and dead ends; 42 false assemblies and just ONE level 5 solution.

The puzzle is made from 6 pieces of clear 10mm acrylic combined with 2 pieces of Queensland Blackbean wood.
Size: 70mm x 70mm x 70mm

Rialto Bridge IPP43 Exchange puzzle
This puzzle fits into a couple of different categories of puzzle. Brian calls it a sequential move puzzle. There are items to find and get out of the puzzle so it could be called a puzzle box in a way. But Brian does not consider it to be a Sequential Discovery puzzle. Goal:   What you have around the Rialto Bridge is gondolas and gondoliers, right? So you have to find the gondola and gondolier inside the puzzle. As well as his oar (pole) and the ballast (we jokingly said that was the...
