Piston by Felix Ure

This is the latest creation of renowned British puzzle designer Felix Ure, and general consensus amongst the puzzling community seems to be that Piston is his best work to date on a mass-released puzzle (personally I think Hip Flask is still my favourite, but I appear to be in the minority on this one). One of his most eye catching designs and machine from solid brass, Piston is a weighty puzzle that features some absolutely ingenious mechanisms. This was a really fun solve and by no means easy (Felix rates it as 7/10 for difficulty) - I think I was stuck on Piston for more hours than I’d care to admit!

The puzzle has been solved once and is in excellent second hand condition. I’ve carefully reset it to ensure its next owner will get the full experience. Being made of solid brass, the puzzle is already showing a really nice patina, though if you prefer the shiny look a little bit of brasso will have the puzzle sparkling again in now time (I like the dull look so never polish my puzzles). As per the picture, this puzzle will also come with it’s original packaging complete with green velvet bag.
