Description

This is another example of Stewart tinkering with his designs and I’m grateful that he did as I had made some of this original design quite a few years ago so when I noticed that it was updated to have only one solution I decided to make a few copies, with a couple available to sell.

Everything is ‘Triple Buffed’ even the Box interior.

This particular copy has the following woods:

Pieces are Black Palm, Bloodwood and Maple. Box is Red Zebrawood with a Maple sleeve.  The bottom is Canarywood with Wenge inlays.

Box does not have a lid so you can display the puzzle.

Here’s  Stewart’s description:

“This is not just another five piece dissection of the 3x3x3 cube. It rewards the solver

with symmetrical patterns of the dissimilar colorful woods on all six faces.

The original design was found to have three solutions with the improved design with

only one solution.”

Shipping to be determined at close of auction.

Edition of Additions by Pelikan
I’m offering up this fun design by Alexander that was beautifully crafted by Pelikan.Kevin Sadler wrote about it:“Do you like the Soma cube and its associated challenges? If so then you will love the Edition of Additions! Alexander has branched out into a different genre of puzzles to his usual packing or interlocking puzzles and has created something perfect for new and old puzzlers alike. This is absolutely stunning made with Bubinga pieces and an Oak box which has been beautifully made (...

Golden Pot - Yavuz Demirhan by Pelikan
I’m reluctantly offering up this beautiful puzzle design by Yavuz that was exceptionally crafted by Pelikan.Kevin Sadler wrote about it:“When Yavuz designs something, I always pay attention. He is an amazing designer as well as a superb craftsman. The belief that there is a pot of gold at the end of a rainbow is a wonderful piece of old Irish folklore and it is quite surprising that a Turkish man living in Germany can get a pair of Czech craftsmen to make it but even without a hint of Irelan...
