I have had this box sitting on my shelf for at least a coon's age and thought it about time to retrofit this one.There was a sticker on the bottom saying that it was originally made in the Philippines. The abalone is real and about 1/32" thick.

This hexagon shaped box came its own challenges, and not wanting to disrupt the beautiful exterior with knobs seemed like a good start. This puzzle was going to need something very different, something that I haven't used before....
This may very well be a tough challenge. The key will activate both interior and exterior mechanisms, but not at the same time, so picking it open just won't work here.
The interior is full of mechanisms, so much so that I don't know if you could squeeze a finger in. Upon finally opening the lid after learning her tricks you just might say to yourself, "well that was pretty wild"! Well, at the very least the box is pretty and the Ladybug represents the wild.
If you can find good communication with Ms Ladybug she will help guide you to know if you are on the right path to the solution!
Someday, way down the road, I would consider making more of these, but for now this is it folks.
