As I walked along the shores of Lake Ontario, the breeze drifted gently through my hair and the sunlight danced across the water. That’s when something unusual caught my eye — a single tree standing boldly in the sand. I paused, thinking how peculiar it was to see a tree rooted in a place like that.

The longer I lingered, the more the shoreline revealed its quiet surprises. Then I found it — a unique, beautifully weathered piece of wood. In that exact moment, the puzzle began.

This time, I didn’t want to force the wood into my design.

I wanted to let the wood speak.

To let it shape itself.

From that simple piece, carried and carved by nature, came a truly one-of-a-kind idea. From there, the search began for other exotic woods — chosen carefully to complement one another, each adding its own character and voice.
