???? Special Provenance Note: ???? This puzzle comes directly from the personal estate and collection of the late, legendary puzzle designer and enthusiast, Bill Darrah. Up for auction is a handsome interlocking wooden puzzle, The Six Hand Burr. This puzzle was originally exchanged at the 23rd International Puzzle Party (IPP23) held in Chicago in 2003. It was brilliantly designed by Simon Nightingale and expertly crafted by Andy Manvell.
The Objective: As described on the box, this is a "self-assembly and self-disassembly puzzle." It is a fantastic take on the classic 6-piece burr mechanism, offering a great challenge for both taking it apart and putting it back together.
Condition:
Excellent, collector-quality condition. The wood is beautifully finished with tight tolerances that showcase Manvell's excellent craftsmanship. The puzzle comes completely whole with its original kraft box, the original IPP exchange label intact, and the included fold-out instruction/solution slip.
