This puzzle is nicely crafted by Brian from edge beveled cubes and is a variation of Stewart’s ‘Pyracube’.
It’s actually design #197 called ‘Under Cover’ where you can fit the pieces into a Pyramidal pile or a cubic shape and with one piece left out can form a tetrahedral pile.
