Description

Satellite (Scorpius) CT49 by Stewart Coffin / Arjeu

Made in the 1980's by Arjeu.  Designed by Stewart Coffin.

Arjeu was a French company that produced over 90 wooden mechanical puzzles, many of which are interlocking puzzles.  Arjeu's line of puzzles are known for their intricate designs and challenging nature.  Many of the designs are from Stewart Coffin, Phillipe Dubois, Pierlot, and others.  Appealing at first glance, these puzzles are also known for being difficult and require dexterity and problem-solving skills to assemble and disassemble.  Interestingly, they are featured in the Canadian Center for Architecture!  All puzzles are made from beech, sometimes colored to provide contrast.

LabyBox (IPP31) by Jean Claude Constantin
LabyBox (IPP31) by Jean Claude ConstantinAn intriguing puzzle box that you can only open once you've solved the corresponding maze.  This was Hendrik Haak's Exchange Puzzle at IPP 31 in Berlin and is one of the nicest quality JCC boxes I've ever seen, with satin finished quilted maple for the main box.  Its unusual design also allows it to show off brief teases of what you choose to store inside.A great review can be found here: LabyBoxShipping by USPS, payment via Zelle, check or money order....

Triple Play (IPP31) by Bill SheckelsTriple Play (aka Tryagain) was designed and crafted by Bill Sheckels for exchange at IPP 31 in Berlin.  Elegantly finished and polished, a nice contrasting puzzle that is much more than first look indicates.  Each puzzle was individually made and all parts carefully fitted.Shipping by USPS, payment via Zelle, check or money order.  If you have any questions, please ask them before bidding. :-)   See all active listings here: metagrobology : the study...
