Serflex - Stephane Chomine by Pelikan

This puzzle design by Stephane measures 72mm x 72m x 72mm, with a level move count of 26.8.5.3.3.

It’s beautifully crafted from Maple and Wenge by Pelikan.

Kevin Sadler wrote about it:

"This is a beautiful combination of a board burr with burr sticks with all the pieces intertwined. The boards  are made from maple and the sticks contrast well made of dark and nicely grained Wenge. The solution is pretty tough requiring a total of 45 moves (level 26.8.5.3.3) and is a fun sequence of up and down movements as the sticks are gradually extricated from each other. There are many blind alleys to explore and the puzzle remains remarkably stable up until the removal of the first piece. The bevelling of the pieces means the pieces seldom catch and it is a delight to explore."
