Slammed Car is a beast of a puzzle with way, way too many people going crazy for it and begging people for a copy. It's wild to think about how the original wooden copy remained in stock at Pluredro's store for at least a good month before selling out. That just goes to show how there can be treasure and quality gems out there simply undiscovered by people.
While people may not agree on which SD puzzle is Juno's hardest or most popular one, no one can deny that Slammed Car is a strong contender for the top of the list. It has stunning looks, has a hilarious theme in working as a car mechanic to open up the car and "fix" the problems with it, and one can even feel like a customer paying for a pricey repair bill!
Either way, when Gerald saw all of the people lamenting about their inability to get their grubby hands on the wooden version of Slammed Car, he kindly borrowed a copy, and got to work modeling it to make a 3d print of Slammed Car!
Speaking as one of the few people who got to try the original version and then buying the print, Gerald did an amazing job! He replicated all of the steps, and the print flows very smoothly with a similar "feel" as the wooden copy. I honestly can't see any way it falls short in comparison outside of it being in plastic compared to the original's wooden texture. But all of the steps have similar resistance, pressure, and feel. So there are no problems with the print having steps that take more or less force and being inferior. This was Gerald's second batch of Slammed Car with the first group being made in blue instead.
