Description

designed by Dic Sonneveld in the late 90's and made by Tom Lensch, though i don't know what year he made it.

the cage is made from blue mahoe, avodire, and primavera, with burr pieces made from granadillo (a.k.a Mexican rosewood).

this is the complete description from puzzleworld.org:

A three-piece burr is contained within the cube. It is very difficult to disassemble and assemble, requiring rotations and other unnatural acts in addition to the usual burr movements.

i would only add that your interpretation of 'unnatural acts' may or may not help you solve this puzzle, but as long as nobody gets hurt then i guess it's fine.
