Description

This is a burr by Alfons that certainly lives up to its name, it features a tricky central slider that needs to be manipulated, however that’s about all I can tell you as I haven’t been successful in getting beyond that.

It also features 3 burr pieces nestled in 2 frame pieces nicely made with shoulder joinery for strength. The level move count is a lofty 37.6.3.3.3.

This is cool Ai inspired design by Tamas, there were several completely different looking designs in this series of 4.The particular one I have has a neat packing element in the base of the tree. The branches (wires) and leaves (randomly split wood pieces) are seemingly arranged in a tree shape around the trunk (tree branches). Once assembled it really does look like a ‘Bonsai’ tree!This will be shipped disassembled for packing purposes, and cost will be determined at close of auction.

Chequered Binary Cube by Kevin Holmes/Jacques Haubrich

This is an early design by Jacques and features 11 checkered pieces that are nicely crafted by Kevin. Pieces are Maple and Padauk.The main goal is to create a cube from all of the pieces, with additional goals of removing a piece to form a hollow cube. Instruction sheet is included.I made a Box for this puzzle from Walnut with a Wenge/Peruvian Walnut Bottom and a Tigerwood/Peruvian Walnut Top.
