Description

This 5 piece cube design by Stewart came about shortly after his ‘Pillars of Hercules’ design, and it would ultimately lead to his infamous ‘Computer Killer’ puzzle.

I decided to make this one without the ‘trick’ as it’s a difficult enough solve as is.

Pieces are Jatoba with a Box and Lid made from Leopardwood with Maple Slipfeathers.  There’s also two sleeves, one is Yellowheart and the other is Holly.

Everything is ‘triple buffed’ to a nice sheen.

Shipping cost to be determined at close of auction.

Tube It In - William Strijbos by John Devost
It seems hard to believe that it's been almost 20 years since I first made a small run of this clever packing puzzle design in 2006.  William has graciously allowed me to offer up another run as there were only a dozen copies made in 2006.The original metal version was William’s exchange puzzle at the IPP21 in Tokyo. This version is made using many wood varieties and includes a Stand.  The entire puzzle has been ‘triple buffed’ giving it a very nice sheen.Overall size is a little over 4...

This is another of Jakub’s ‘Kumiki’ style puzzles featuring ‘animal’ shapes.  Your goal is to take it apart into its many pieces and then reassemble it, it’s not as easy as it sounds!I made a Box and Lid from Peruvian Walnut with Holly Slipfeathers and Roasted Ash Sleeve. You can read more about it at my blog:https://paradisepuzzles.blogspot.com/2023/09/snail-by-pelikan.htmlShipping cost to be determined at close of auction.
