Description
SunDial is a sequel puzzle to Sea Chest in a planned trilogy and is a collaborative puzzle between Jesse Born and Robert Yarger.
It is an incredible piece of craftsmanship which a rich sense of history and age to it due to how not a single inch was left unmarked and the crafting techniques used to mimic the weathering of age. It feels like this puzzle was discovered in an ancient tomb out of an Indiana Jones movie.
While the goal of the puzzle is to work through the 6 hidden compartments to extract the citrine gem that is visible to the solver the entire time, the puzzle is hiding secrets that go much farther beyond the gem, and it takes a puzzler's puzzler to find them all!
There are roughly 130 pieces of wood, metal, leather, and printed plastic that make up the SunDial box.
The pictures are to show every angle of the puzzle, and the last photo is just to show the condition of the box when it's closed. There is a taped on shipping label which I'm covering up to protect the privacy of the previous owner.
