This work was designed for an exhibition with the theme, “Karakuri Experiments”.
It was challenging to create it.
The image for this sword came from a Western sword that fits in a scabbard.
A wooden sword comes out, but it won't be pulled out completely.
It's not difficult to operate, but I believe it's a unique item.
Swords appear widely in various video games and other works.
In Japan as well, the popular anime featuring Japanese swords has led to the popularity of sword making tutorials and cardboard sword making.
What kind of item did the Karakuri sword become?
Also because of the size of this item shipping may be a little more expensive then normal. Just felt I should disclose.

Please wait to make final payment until shipping has been added to your invoice. Insurance by request and at buyers expense. Please make payment using PayPal friends and family. Please respond to message within 24 hours of auction ending. This does not mean payment is due, just would like to make contact. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks and good luck!!!
