Description
The 2kg monster puzzle lock. Hefty, sturdy, strong, and difficult!
From Rainer:
T12 is a fairly old design. Actually it should become T8. But then I came up with the actual T8 and had to do this first… :-) T12 is something like an “old fashioned” trick lock. No unusual Tricks and movements, but overall quite challenging and rewarding I guess. The lock has 10 steps to open, according to the manual.The brass is currently patinated and can be cleaned with brass polish to bring back the original shine.
The instruction document is lacking, these are the instructions:
no hitting, shaking, force or gravity required,
do not use the key until you've found the key hole
no random movements like turning the key indefinitely or rattling
do not use the key to push buttons
if your fingers are too thick for a certain a step you may use a match or similar as an aid
