Tempting Balance by Tatsuo Miyamoto (Karakuri)
A great idea from Miyamoto, he commented "This work was designed for an exhibition with the theme, “Karakuri Experiments”. It was challenging to create it. Last year, I bought a set of balance scales at an antique store. It fit the theme of experimentation, so I took a chance and made it into a Karakuri work piece. It was a challenge to create a retro atmosphere."
