The Jammed Gem is a collaboration piece created by Frederick Boucher and the late Eric Fuller. The materials used for the version I am selling are of Bright Quarter-Sawn Sapele, Black Palm with pieces from Dark Macassar Ebony.
What makes this puzzle so special? This Puzzle Box has the engraved initials of the late creator of the puzzle Eric Fuller. Only 35 copies were ever created of this version, and only 35 copies were made of the other version made of Walnut, Wenge w/ Bubinga pieces, which is why it is a bit difficult to find as there were only a small handful ever made (70 total per the Cubic Dissection website). The puzzle is extremely fun and has been solved/reset a couple of times and is still in new condition. Checkout the review/solve of this puzzle on Doc Hitchcock’s channel via YouTube. I will be including a bonus SD puzzle box, pack puzzle or Hanayama from my lot to the buyer. All of my puzzles are well maintained and stored inside of a smoke/pet free compartment with 50% humidity to protect the longevity of the puzzles and will ship with a collector in mind!
