The Mecanigma is a 15 step Steampunk themed puzzle box with gears and articulated mechanisms. It is assembled from 541 pieces consisting of laser cut Poplar wood, 3D printed parts, and metal hardware.

I spent 75+ hours over the course of 2 months building this masterpiece, paying very close attention to the finest of details, soooo many hours of cutting, sanding, staining, gluing, varnishing, and waxing. I am very very pleased with how well it turned out, as you can see from the pictures above it is quite impressive! ( I'll include the assembly instruction booklet so you can see just how complex of a build it truly was!)
Having built it myself I was aware of how everything worked but even so it is such a pleasure to pick up and go through the solve now and again, very smooth with satisfying clicks! 10 sequential steps and 5 cryptic steps in total that aren't overly complicated but do require a bit of thought and deduction. Seeing the gears and parts move is what really makes this one stand out, looks like something straight out of the video game series "The Room"!
Now you are probably wondering why in the world would I sell something I've invested so much time into and especially if I am so pleased with it?! Well, I mainly bought it for the build experience and since I'm an avid puzzle solver with limited funds and space I need to sell in order to make room and recoup funds to continue to support my addiction, lol! With all that said, I truly hope it will find a new home and be cherished and appreciated!
